Emergency contact is a feature that allows Smart24 to be configured, via Remote Management, with a phone number that you can call reach a member of your monitoring team, for instance when you need help.
The home screen is modified with an additional button that can be tapped to initiate a call.
The actual number that will be called can be viewed from the Side Menu under Communication.
When you make the call, you will exit from Smart24 and make use of your default Phone app. This means that this is one of the features that requires you to have a sim card with a phone plan that allows you to make calls.
